Tatyana Marisol Ali is an American actress and singer. She portrays Mrs. Hughes on Peacock's modern-day reinterpretation, Bel-Air.
Biography[]
Ali started her acting career as a child and is best known for her role as Ashley Banks in the original Fresh Prince of Bel-Air series that aired on NBC from 1990 to 1996, during which time she occasionally displayed her vocal talents, ultimately resulting in her to pursue a music career after the show's conclusion. In 1998, she released her now certified gold debut album, Kiss The Sky. While dropping hits, Ali continued to land acting roles as well.
From 2007-2013, she starred as Roxanne in CBS' daytime soap opera The Young and the Restless. In 2010, she was cast in the leading role of Tyana Jones in the TV One sitcom Love That Girl!. She starred in the series for three seasons before departing due to contractual obligations.
