Biography[]
Inviting Hilary to his influencer house[]
Kylo speaks with Hilary, who is hoping to be offered a spot in Kylo's content creator house. He explains how they're one of the top influencer houses in the country and are growing by the day.[1]
After accepting Hilary into his influencer house, he and the other influencers agree to attend a diner at her family's home, where Kylo breaks off to speak with Philip, who wonders if Phil feels as though Hilary should've sought out a more professional career. Phil explains that Hilary was born two months premature and spent the first six weeks of her life in the NIC unit. He prayed for her to be healthy and have a full life, and his heart hasn't changed. He puts no other conditions on her, so long as she's happy. Kylo jokingly remarks that he wishes his father was understanding.[2]
Kylo FaceTimes Hilary and tells her that she's approaching the 24-hour exodus, referring to the fact that if she goes a whole day without posting, she's going to lose 3% of her followers. Hilary explains that she has to help her family, but Kylo reminds her that social media doesn't wait for family matters. She offers to make a cooking tutorial, but Kylo warns her that they're repetitive and advises her to try something else.[3]
Posting Thirsty Chef[]
Kylo takes Hilary's "Thirsty Chef" video of her cooking in lingerie and uploads it online without her permission. So, when he ignores her texts to take the video down, she confronts him face-to-face at an influencer party. It was never his intention to be disrespectful, and he was simply juicing the algorithm, which worked, as people are loving Thirsty Chef. However, Hilary has no intention of building an audience from gimmicks and clickbait, but when she is approached by two influencers, who salute her for her recent video, she begins to reconsider. Furthermore, Kylo reveals that he was just talking to some bigwigs from Victoria Secrets who wanted to meet Hilary.[4]
Kylo is hopeful that Hilary has a follow-up video to Thirsty Chef in the wind, but she doesn't just yet. However, Kylo reminds Hilary that her sexy chef video did 3 million and he doesn't want her to lose momentum. Later, Hilary informs Kylo that she's come up for with four other video ideas outside of Thirsty Chef. While he is not pleased, he's also not surprised. After doing a bit of research on Hilary, he learned that she dropped out of college, left two or three jobs, as well as internships, and she even quit her online personas. She's shown a pattern to take off on a new adventure whenever something doesn't go her way. Hilary tells Kylo that she doesn't need him and threatens to leave, but according to her contract, if she does, all the content she created in the house belongs to him and she'll owe him a kill fee.[5]
