"So much of what I do pulls inspo from this crowd, yo. And if you think about it, what we do is art. And you should embrace that sh*t. Especially if you want to, you know, break free from that whole Kylo entanglement."
—Ivy to Hilary[src]

Biography[]

Reuniting with Hilary[]

Ivy runs into Hilary outside of Lily of the Valley Church, where the two old friends become reacquainted. They've been friends since their childhood, when Ivy taught Hilary how to use eyeliner in the bathroom. Admittedly, she was a bad influence. Years later, Ivy now has 10.2 million followers, which leads Hilary to propose a collab, but Ivy seems a bit hesitant.[1]

Ivy asks for Hilary's opinion

Ivy tags along with Hilary for her mother's gala. She is enamored with the crowd and culture. So much of what she does, pulls from this community, and in their own way, what she and Hilary do as influencers is a form of art as well. Ivy advises Hilary to embrace it, especially if she wants to break free from the Kylo entanglement. Jazz arrives not far behind them and greets Ivy, though he is a bit flirtatious. The next day, Ivy invites Hilary to her photoshoot and asks for her honest opinion. Hilary believes that the picture relies too much on her dress and body rather than her story and drama. Ivy appreciates her input and wishes someone on her team had similar ideas. Hilary offers to be that person. The boost they both got from just her mom's gala is impossible to ignore, and Hilary suggests that Ivy buy Kylo out of the influencer house, which they could make into a female forward space. Also, in buying the house, she would also be buying Hilary out of her contract. Ivy takes the idea into consideration and speaks to her accountant first.[2]

Ivy at Ashley's party with her drinks

Ivy and Hilary celebrate with Monica and Phanta after their purchase of the influencer house from Kylo. They commemorate the moment with a few bottles of Ivy's own drink, H2Ivy, which will be the official drink of the house, a decision that she didn't bother running past Hilary. Upon the arrival of the "Blackass Brothers," Ivy makes a break for the exit, leaving the unfortunate task of firing them to Hilary. The following day, Ivy sets up a table for her H2Ivy drinks at Ashley's birthday party, where she dances with Jazz and later asks for his help with bringing items back to the house, where she kisses him until Hilary intervenes, explaining that she and Jazz are dating.[3]

Hilary interrupts Ivy's H2-Ivy photoshoot about the deal she has with Simply Spiked and a marketing opportunity for the house. However, Ivy reminds Hilary that they previously agreed that H2-Ivy would be the official drink of the house, not to mention her lawyers advised her against endorsing the competition, which Hilary finds laughable, as Simply Spiked is an international brand whereas no one even knows what Ivy's drink is. Ivy disagrees and isn't interested in a Simply Spiked collab, turning down the partnership.[4]

Ivy attends Hilary's cross promotion event at Lamarcus' house in hopes of growing the following for their influencer house. Ivy commends Hilary on pulling together a football collab with Lamarcus for a five-on-five game and later tells Hilary that Jazz is the past and that she needs to focus on her future.[5]
