Biography

Family reunion

Upon his arrival at the Banks mansion in Bel Air, Uncle Earl is greeted by Ashley, who he doesn't show much interest in conversing with and passes by without saying much. Despite his initially rudeness, Ashley continues to try and break through to Uncle Earl, bringing him something to eat, which helps win him over. He then approaches Ashley about dessert and tells her that he'll talk plenty once she brings him some cookies. He ultimately reveals to Ashley that he fought in WWII. He's a retired Lieutenant Colonel, and they were referred to as the Red Tails. He flew missions all over Europe and shows Ashley a picture of himself when he was younger. Ashley's recalls reading about men like him and how he helped integrate the military. For this, Uncle Earl is celebrated by the entire family.
