Biography[]
Early life[]
Connor was born and raised in Bel-Air, having known Carlton and Lisa since grade school.[1]
Confrontation with Will[]
Connor gets into a confrontation with Carlton's cousin Will after he enters the locker room at Bel-Air Academy and catches Connor rapping the n-word to Bobby Shmruda's Hot N*gga. Will warns Connor to watch his mouth, but he doesn't back down, forcing Carlton to intervene and tell Will to leave. Later that night, Connor throws a beach party at his house, which both Carlton and Will attend. He and Carlton are at poolside doing drugs when Connor remarks that Carlton's play it cool strategy to win Lisa back isn't working, as she seems to be moving on. Upset, Carlton pushes Will into the pool, and after Lisa pulls him out, Will punches both Connor and Carlton.[2]
Planting drugs on Will[]
Connor approaches Will at school and shows him the restraining order he had his lawyer uncle file against him. It says Will has to stay at least 10 feet away from Connor on school grounds and at least 50 feet anywhere else. To get back at Will for punching him, Connor sets him up to be suspended by planting drugs in his bag.[1]
The following day, Connor is confronted by Carlton, who blames him for planting drugs on Will without first consulting him. He went too far, and now they're on the verge of being found out, as his parents have come up to the school; his dad has busted five LAPD cover-ups and made Fortune 500 CEOs cry under oath, while his mom is equally dangerous. Between the two of them, there's nothing they can't find out. And so, they have to free Will before the truth comes to light.[3]
Waring with Carlton[]
Connor confronts Carlton for his recent poor performance on the field, leading Coach Denning to suggest that he practice with the scrimmage team, as Connor remarks that "lacrosse is still one sport they can't take away from us." Fueled by anger from Connor's remark, Carlton collides with Connor on the field, knocking him to the ground and injuring his wrist. Despite this, Connor attends Carlton's party. He is willing to squash their beef, but only if Connor apologizes for all the racist and offensive remarks he's made. Connor refuses and leaves the party instead, but the team decides to stay. Upset, he calls the police shortly after leaving.[4]
Founder's Award nomination[]
Connor has been nominated for the Founder's Award along with Will and Carlton. He sarcastically congratulates Carlton on his Founder's Award nomination, not that it matters, as they're both going to lose to Will after his "woke ass Malcolm-X stunt." Connor thought Carlton may be looking for an escape, that being drugs, though Carlton insists that he's fine. Connor isn't convinced and leaves a peace offering behind for Carlton.[5]
As the "Meet the Nominees" forum begins, Connor accuses Carlton of going with the overachiever's angel, whereas Connor claims to simply be giving the people what they want and attempts to persuade the student body into supporting him. However, he is forced to withdraw after someone air drops the video of Carlton allowing Connor to sing Bobby Shmurda's Hot N*gga, which Connor suspects was Will's doing.[6]
Connor is approached by Carlton, who is in dire need of more drugs. And so, he takes Carlton to meet his dealers. There, they snort an abundance of drugs and drink alcohol, at which point, Carlton passes out. When he awakens, he is alone on the couch and his car is gone, as is Connor.[7]
Connor and his mother are invited over to Carlton's house to discuss what happened with them two the night prior. According to Connor, he and Carlton got robbed. However, after hearing Carlton's story, Connor confesses to lying. He then proceeds to corroborate Carlton's story about how they got drunk together and split up. After parting ways, Connor claims he met up with a girl named Sydney, who his doesn't approve of. As for his father's watch, Connor claims he crashed at Sydney's place and likely left it there. That said, Connor says that Carlton told the truth and that he was just trying to cover for himself. Later that night, Connor and Carlton reconvene and discuss how they have to be more careful moving forward.[8]
