Cassandra Freeman

Cassandra Freeman is an American actress. She portrays Vivian Banks on Peacock's modern-day reinterpretation, Bel-Air.

Biography[]

Freeman's first notable role was as Sylvia in Spike Lee's 2006 crime film Inside Man, starring Denzel Washington, followed by Chris Rock's I Think I Love My Wife. She's also appeared on several television series, including Netflix's Marvel series Luke Cage, FX's Atlanta, and Queen Latifah's VH1 hit series Single Ladies.

In addition to acting, Freeman is a Senior Executive Coach at GK Training and Communications, a performing artist, teacher, and consultant, who often volunteers in Africa and the US, and teaches for non-profits, corporations and universities. She's also the founder of her own non-profit, Kassandra Arts Project, an organization that seeks to empower disadvantaged children by helping them to unlock their creativity.
